We are currently assessing a bird nest at risk at the PUSD Education Center, 351 S Hudson Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101. It is on a tree that begun being felled by Tree Smith Enterprises on June 12, 2026, but has not been completely taken down.

We are looking for someone to help identify the species. It may be a Great horned owl or Red tail hawk according to some that have looked at our photos. We hope to get better pictures before the tree is felled, but the nest is approximately 70 feet up. Legal notice has been given to Tree Smith Enterprises.
